Homelessness Is Not the American Dream

Homelessness is becoming a way of life for millions. We must end this crisis.

 

Many people lose their homes for short periods. You may be homeless if you move to another city to take a job, and you have to stay in a hotel or with friends for a while. You may be homeless if you decide to travel after leaving a job and don't renew your lease.

Traveling for vacation doesn't make you homeless. Selling your home, putting your things into storage, and sailing around the world does make you somewhat homeless. If you live in an RV and travel around the country, you're technically homeless.

Republicans Are Socialists Too

Republicans are hypocrites for using socialism to benefit themselves.

 

It infuriates me to see Republican candidates for political office use the word "socialism" to brand their Democratic opponents as if they are traitors to the country. The Republican Party has supported socialism ever since it began in the 1800s.

Socialism is baked into our constitution. The constitution created the post office and mandated the construction of postal roads for delivering the mail. That's socialism. The constitution also gives Congress the authority to regulate commerce - socialism in action - and to raise taxes and create such services and offices as will serve the needs of the country. Again, that's socialism.

Republican Economics Have Failed America

Sorry, Dad, but your Republican Party has ruined the U.S. economy.

 

My family were staunch Republican supporters for many years. Growing up, I only heard about how irresponsible the "tax and spend" Democrats are. They waste our money and spend "pork" on their supporters and don't serve the interest of the country. And yet, the last 2 presidents who reduced the national deficit were Bill Clinton and Barack Obama.

Republicans believe that if you increase the wealth of the richest families in America, their spending will trickle down to lower income families. We'll all benefit if the wealthiest families benefit. But that has never happened.

My Family Are Not Political Pawns for Republicans

American families are threatened by Donald Trump and the Republican Party. They don't care
about our health, our safety, or our lives. They just want our votes so they can continue to
oppress minorities and enrich their friends. It is time to vote Democratic to save our country!

I have had enough of the Republican Party and their love fest Donald Trump. How can so many people holding public office sacrifice the interests of their states and country for the ego of one sick man? He's not even a man. He's a pale imitation of a man: a failure in business, a failure as a husband and father, and a failure as a leader. Donald Trump has led our country into the worst crisis in more than 60 years.

He didn't preside over the crisis, he made it. He made the Covid-19 recession through indifference, ignorance, and bombastic bluster. He doesn't care anything for Israel, the police, our constitution, or the lives of the people who voted him into office. Millions of Americans realize they voted for the worst-possible candidate in history. But not Republican politicians.
